Event Hire

The Hall is available to hire for a variety of events.

Charities

Charities are able to avail themselves of special rates depending on the activity proposed. The Hall’s flexible space is perfect for fund-raising dinner dances or quiz nights. Cream teas during the summer are perennial favourites and the Hall can provide a useful base for charity walks and D of E activities along the Ridgeway, which passes right outside.

Community

The Hall is used extensively by the local community, with Keep Fit and Yoga classes, Ballroom dancing and Art classes on a regular basis. (Please see the Community pages for current activities). It is the perfect space for a playgroup, or as an all-weather start and finish point for D of E or scouting activities. The stage and large wooden floor offer useful rehearsal space.

The Trustees, mindful of the Hall’s remit to support activities in the community welcome approaches from local community groups wishing to use the Hall.

Parties

The Hall is the perfect space for a party, with a stage for your band or disco and a wooden block floor to dance on. Please contact the booking secretary to discuss your requirements.

Children’s Parties

The Hall is a very popular space for children’s parties offering plenty of room to set up tables and chairs (available in the Hall) whilst retaining space for children to run about and play party games.

Conferences

Businesses find the Hall a flexible space for theatre style presentations and seminars as well as training days.
